LIBRARY

A repository of knowledge having different types of books with a separate reference section having selected books and encyclopedias caters to the needs of student of all classes. The reading section subscribes to many leading Newspapers, Magazines and Periodicals. Overall we have Internet facility in the library for students to explore the global information and gain latest knowledge of the own.

COMPUTER EDUCATION

Now is a computer age, so all the student are compulsory for computer education with the well equip computer separate class room and library. All students get ample opportunity to handle computers and gain knowledge about latest hardware and software.


HOSTELS

All the boys and girls are grouped according to their age/class - I, II, III (G-A), IV, V, VI (G-B), VII & VIII (G-C). Each groups has three houses namely - Paona, Thangal, Tikendrajit.


MESSING

All the boys and girls are dinned in a separate and well-furnished common dining hall. The cooking arrangements are supervised by a qualified mess manager. The school has fully automated ultramodern kitchen which enables preparation of hygiene wholesome food.


MEDICAL ATTENTION

The health of the boys and girls are regularly attended to by a qualified Doctor assisted by a Nursing Assistant.

GENERATOR

The school has a 125 KVA generators ensuring uninterrupted power supply to the entire campus.


WATER SUPPLY

The school has its own water reservoir, filtration and treatment plant. Sufficient water is made available to the dormitories in the morning and evening for bathing purposes.

LAUNDRY SERVICE

Laundry services are available to students. All students are required to give their clothes for washing and ironing on the days prescribed.

CANTEEN BOOKS & STATIONERY

In order to cater to the requirement of the students pertaining to stationery, text books, tutorials, clothing, etc. necessary arrangement exist within the school campus. The students may take various items of poet their requirement from the school canteen using “Students Purchase Slips”. And these amounts will be deducted from their canteen fee.


Rules & Regulation

PRIVATE CLOTHING

Wearing of any items of private clothing/non-school pattern of clothing is not permitted on any occasion including holidays. Parents are, therefore, advised not to send any item of private clothing along with their child/wards.

CASH AND VALUABLES

Keeping of cash and other valuable articles including transistors, tape recorders etc. are prohibited.

INCOMING TELE-CALLS

Parents/Guardians are requested not to make tele-calls except in cases of emergency. Should there be a reason enough, they may leave message with the warden of the concerned hostel.

VISIT BY PARENTS

Parents may visit their ward on 1st Sunday of each month between 1000 hrs. to 1600 hrs. Visits on any other day are not permitted. Parents are not permitted to bring foodstuff or their wards. Parents/visitors are expected to be on possession of their “Parent’s Card” while visiting the school. The parent’s card will be issued at the time of fresh admission. Any visitor, whose identity is not known to, is not permitted to inter the campus.

OUT PASS AND LEAVE

The school does not permit student to go out of the school campus as long as the academy session is in progress except in very exigent circumstances. Parents and guardians are advised to plan celebrations/functions during vacations.

TRAVELLING HOME

Parents/Guardians are required to collect the child/wards from the school on commencement of vacations/breaks and bring them on re-opening of school.


OVERSTAY VACATIONS/BREAKS

Any absence from the school, during the session without genuine reasons is not permitted. Parents/guardians are advised not to detain their wards at home on expiry of the vacations/breaks failing which as fine of Rest. 75 per day will be imposed on the students. The students having less than 85% of the attendance are not permitted to appear in the Annual Examination.
